Music Team

 

The Music Team consists of a number of vocalists, a keyboard player, a guitarist and a flautist. We practice weekly and lead the praise portion of the worship service. We welcome singers and instrumentalists to join us.

In our morning worship we combine the varying styles of Traditional Hymns with the Pipe Organ and Modern Worship Songs for the congregation and for the children. Some of the music we enjoy is the Colin Buchanan, Sovereign Grace and Geoff Bullock material.

We make a point of involving any budding musicians by encouraging the older sunday school children to accompany the childrens song in the morning service and giving the keyboard players the job of playing during the offering collection. All the adults love to see and hear these piano students play and hopefully they will develop to a point where they are capable of playing for the entire service.
